For organizations with specialty printing applications, the
magicolor 2210 offers the aforementioned optional lan-
guages to support their requirements. These emulations
do require an internal hard disk for operation.
Provided on diskette, the LN03+ emulation enhances docu-
ment printing from DEC
® environments. It includes 15
typefaces and prints at 300 dpi in monochrome. Businesses
that purchase the optional Crown for DECnet-TCP/IP
interface will receive the LN03+ emulation at no extra cost.
Users can install ImageServer ® software onto the magicolor
2210 for monochrome, 300 dpi printing of compressed
image files. ImageServer software supports a number of
image file formats including TIFF, CCITT, Group 3 and
Group 4, and CALS Raster.
For direct printing of ATA and CALS CGM file formats, the
magicolor 2210 can be equipped with the CGM (Computer
Graphics Metafile) emulation. It aids in printing complex
color and monochrome CGM graphics files, generating out-
put at optimal speeds.
