The magicolor 2210 uses four (CMYK) self-contained
slide-in toner cartridges, each color-coded and keyed for
error-free installation. The printer uses an intelligent
carousel system for easy toner changes. When the printer
indicates a particular toner needs replacement, the
carousel system automatically rotates to the low or empty
toner, readying it for quick replacement by the user.
The magicolor 2210 also has a OPC drum that gathers an
image via the printer’s laser beam then transfers that
image to the transfer belt.
The long-lasting transfer belt then
takes the image composed of toner
and transfers it to the print media as it
passes through the engine.
The fuser / transfer roller kit contains two user-
replaceable items. The fuser adheres the toner to the
paper. The transfer roller assists in the transfer of toner to
the paper prior to fusing.
