2.

Connect all cables that connect the RAID Cage and its backplane to
other system components.

3.

Reinstall the SCSI drives in the new RAID cage by aligning the rails
and sliding them all the way into the cage (see Figure 29).

4.

Secure the drives by closing the latching clips.

Important!

Each drive has a Drive
Number label affixed to the
front of the drive. The drive
number on the label
corresponds to the device's
SCSI ID. Drives must be
installed in ascending order
starting from the bottom bay.
