12.1 LED signals
Symptom Cause Corrective measures
LED not lighting up. Problems with the power supply • Check the +55 V power
supply at the connection area
of the Sunny String-Monitor in
question.
LED 1 does not glow. Theft protection is activated. • Check the wiring of the theft
protection.
LED 2 does not glow. Surge arrester has tripped. • Replace a defective
protection module in the surge
arrester.
LED 3 does not light up for
more than 5 minutes. Problems with the data cable • Check data cable between
Sunny Central and Sunny
String-Monitor, and between
the individual Sunny
String-Monitors.
LED 4 glows red. Failure of the control board of
the string current monitoring • Contact the SMA Serviceline.
