11.6.6 Setting the Tolerance
You can use the tolerance to set the sensitivity of the string current monitoring, since it is included in
the calculation of the error sum. The default tolerance setting for each group is 13%.
Since only a clear deviation of a measuring channel from a mean value is an indication of a faulty
string, whereas minor deviations can be considered normal, the tolerance value must be set
accordingly high.
1. Select the Sunny Central String Monitor Controller you want in the plant tree.
2. Select the "Parameters" tab.
3. Enter the tolerance value for the groups in percent in the parameter fields "TolGr1" to "TolGr6".
4. Select [Save].
11.7 Reading the Measured Values
11.7.1 Reading the Measured Values of the Groups
1. Access the Sunny WebBox interface.
2. Enter the user password and confirm with [Login].
3. Select the Sunny Central String Monitor Controller you want in the plant tree.
4. Read off the mean values for the groups on the "Spot values" tab.
11.7.2 Reading the Measured Values for the Individual
Measuring Channels
1. Access the Sunny WebBox interface.
2. Enter the user password and confirm with [Login].
3. Select the String Monitor Unit you want from the plant tree.
4. Read the mean values for the individual measuring channels on the "Spot values" tab.
