Configuration procedure
To configure flow aging:

251. Enter system view. system-view N/A
Optional.
By default:
• Set the aging timer for active flows:
ip netstream timeout active minutes
• The aging timer for active
flows is 30 minutes.
252. Configure periodical
aging. • Set the aging timer for inactive flows:
ip netstream timeout inactive seconds
• The aging timer for
inactive flows is 30
seconds.
Optional. a. Set the maximum entries that the cache
can accommodate:
ip netstream max-entry max-entries
By default, the cache can
accommodate a maximum of
100 entries.
253. Configure forced
aging of the
NetStream entries. b. Exit to user view:
quit
The reset ip netstream
statistics command also
clears the cache.
c. Configure forced aging:
reset ip netstream statistics
Displaying and maintaining NetStream
