Unit 3 is available with a

" (22.2 mm) clevis pin to
attach the unit to the boat. If necessary, contact your dealer to
exchange the lower toggle stud for the correct size. Harken
does not recommend drilling the chainplate or the integral toggle.
Check to make sure the lower drum assembly will fit inside the
bow pulpit. If there is an anchor locker, check to see if the drum
assembly will clear. If necessary, use a toggle or link plates to
raise the unit. See page 8.
■ Threaded Headstay Stud
Order a Harken threaded stud to match headstay wire or rod size.
■ Dyform
® Wire
The maximum Dyform wire size for the Unit 3 is 7/16" (12 mm).
Do not use 1/2" Dyform wire. Use Norseman Dyform stud or
Sta-Lok stud with HFG265 Dyform wedge.
■ Connectors for -22 Rod
Connectors used for -22 rod must have plastic bushings to
decrease the connector bore. Bushings are shipped with the
-22 rod terminal, part #970 -22.
