Turning Off the Power
If you simply turn oif the power, not only can recorded content be lost, but
the VS-890 itself could malfunction. In order to safeguard the recorded
performance and turn off the power safely, you must perform the Shutdown
procedure when you are finished.

Hold down [SHIFT] and press [SHUT/EJECT (STOP)].
"SHUT / EJECT ?" will be displayed. Press [YES (ENTER)].
