Using the Advisor
Using the Advisor
You can use the Advisor tab to get a summary of the device status. The Advisor tab
can be useful for troubleshooting network problems with your device.
Starting the Device
Advisor
1.
Use the following procedure to access the Device Advisor:
Windows XP and Windows 2000:
a.
Right-click My Computer, select Manage, and highlight Device Manager.
b.
Expand the Multi-port serial adapters entry, right-click on the device you
are configuring, and select the Properties menu item.
Windows NT:
a.
Right-click on the Network Neighborhood, and select Properties.
b.
Select the Adapters tab.
c.
Highlight Comtrol NS-Link and select the Properties button.

Select the Main Setup tab, highlight the device, and select Properties.
The screen for Windows NT is similar.
