6.2 FOOT CONTROL FUNCTIONS

• VOLUME port

Using the Yamaha FC7 or a guitar volume pedal* allows you to adjust the volume level. You can set the volume level
position, and the minimum volume level (the lowest volume level set by the FC7).

1. Set the minimum volume (“5.2 Setting the minimum value for the volume control” on page 24).

2. Set the volume position (“4.4 FCl volume control position” on page 17).

3. Save the data if necessary.

4. Connect the footcontroller to the VOLUME port.

The volume position described in “4.4 FCl volume control position” on page 17 affects the MIDI volume. That is,
there are two volumes at one position.

• You need an optional Yamaha insert VO cable when you use the guitar volume pedal. (See page 6.)

• WAFI port

Use the Yamaha FC7 or a guitar volume pedal* to control wah.

1. Set the CTRL parameter of “7.1.2 WAH Effcts” on page 37 to “FOOT CTL.”

2. Connect the footcontroller to the WAH port.

• You need an optional Yamaha insert I/O cable when you use a guitar volume pedal. (See page 6.)
