Section 5; The Utility Mode
5.4 FS2,FUNCTION
The FS2 Function Select assigns the external FS2 footswitch to be one of the following functions.
• Bank Cycle
• Program Cycle
• Effect Trigger
The FS2 Function display on the LCD the following information:
FSZ FUNCTION
BONK: fl G
Function Assign
PROGRArisP
EFFECT TRIGGER
Function Assign shows the currently selected function.
Options include:
Bank Cycle - when selected, the FS2 footswitch will advance through the assigned Banks
Program cycle - when selected, the FS2 footswitch will advance through the assigned Programs
Effect Trigger - when selected, the FS2 footswitch will trigger Effect features such as Delay Tempo or Rotary
Speed.
To Set the FS2 Function
1. Press the [UTILITY] key to enter the Utility Mode, continue pressing the [UTILITY] key until the display
appears as above.
2. Use the [DATA WHEEL] to set the FS2 Function of your choice.
3. If Bank Cycle is selected, use the [►] cursor key and [DATA WHEEL] to assign the Banks that you wish to
cycle through.
ex.)
Specify A -» C then A -> B -> C -> A
4. If Program Cycle is selected, use the [►] cursor key and [DATA WHEEL] to assign the Program Numbers that
you wish to cycle through. You can specify any number from PO to U99.
ex.) When you specify P98 U2

P99 ^ UO -> U1 U2

5. If Effect Trigger is selected, no other setting is needed here. Please remember to assign the FS2 Trigger to the
Effect Parameter within the Effect Edit Mode.
