4.6 MIDI CONTROLLER 1 AND 2 EFFECT TARGETS
The sixth and seventh pages of the EDIT Mode are for assigning the “destinations” or “TARGETS” of the two MIDI
Controllers. These targets are the effect parameters that benefit the most from the “extra hand” that a MIDI Continuous
controller can provide. The features of CTRLl and CTRL2 are identical, while their functions vary only in that they may
have different effects as targets. In addition to selecting a MIDI Controller target, the FX770 allows for setting minimum
and maximum control values.
The CTRLl and CTRL2 display on the LCD contains the following information:
CTRLl МП-Н1ЙХ
CTRLZ
min
-
мй
;^
DSl: DRU 0 100-
— Min Value, Max Value (%)
DSl: DRU 0 100
Target
The Target designates the currently selected Effect Parameter to be assignedfor control or sets the function to Off.
When the Target is selected, the MIDI Control function doesn’t work.
The Min Value sets the minimum or lowest value that the controller will affect. (%)
The Max Value sets the maximum or highest value that the controller will affect. (%)
To Set the CTRLl and CTRL2 Assignments:
1. Press the [EDIT] key until the LCD display appears as above.
(CRTLl is on the sixth page of the EDIT Mode)
2. With the cursor under the Target parameter, use the [DATA WHEEL] to select the Effect Target that you wish
to assign to this function.
3. Use the [►] cursor key to place the cursor under the Min Value parameter and then set the minimum value with
the [DATA WHEEL].
4. Use the [►] cursor key to place the cursor under the Max Value parameter and then set the maximum value with
the [DATA WHEEL].
5. Press the [EDIT] key once more and CTRL2 will appear in the LCD display.
(CRTL2 is on the seventh page of the EDIT Mode)
