How to tell if you have Auto Tear-Off turned on
1. Press the SEL button to turn the SEL light off.
2. Press the TOF/Quiet button. The paper should move to the Top of Form.
3.
Release the TOF/Quiet button. The paper should move back to the Tear-Off
Position.
4.
If the paper did not move when the TOF/Quiet button was pressed, Auto Tear-
Off is not turned on.
5.
If you desire the Auto Tear-Off setting changed, please refer to the Okidata
manual for instructions.
Setting Top of Form with Auto Tear-Off turned on
1. Press SEL to turn off the SEL light.
2. The paper should stay in the Tear-Off position. (If the paper is not in the tear off
position - Auto Tear-Off is not on.)
3. Press TOF/Quiet button and hold it in. (The paper should move to the Top of
Form.)
4. While holding the TOF button, use the FORM FEED button to move the paper
up or LINE FEED to move the paper down, adjust the paper to the desired Top
of Form position.
5. When it is in the correct position, release the TOF/Quiet button and the paper
should return back to the Tear-Off position.
6. If you wish to check the Top of Form, press TOF/Quiet button, the printer
should go to the Top of Form.
Setting Top of Form with Auto Tear-Off turned off
1. Press the SEL button to turn off the SEL light.
2. The paper should stay at the Top of Form position. (If the paper is not at the Top
of Form - Auto Tear-Off is on.)
3. Press TOF/Quiet button and hold it in. (The paper should stay at the Top of
Form.)
4. While holding the TOF button, use the FORM FEED button to move the paper
up or LINE FEED to move the paper down, adjust the paper to the desired Top
of Form position.
5. When it is in the correct position, you can now release the TOF/Quiet button; the
paper should stay at the Top of Form Position.
