INI Only Restore the application initialization file only.
All Files Restore all files which includes the database, ini file,
custom reports and custom ticket files.
Advanced Clicking on this field will display the advanced
restore options shown below. These options give you
further control over the restoration process.
Database Check this box to restore the database. When
checked, the Compact & Repair box becomes
enabled.
Compact & Repair Check this box to perform a compaction and repair
during the database restoration. This removes any
wasted space.
Tickets Check this box to restore custom ticket files.
Reports Check this box to restore custom reports.
INI Check this box to restore the application initialization
file. Checking this box will enable the controls
directly below. The entire initialization file can be
restored, only the settings sections or only the
registration section.
Restore button
Click this button to begin the restore. You may select to restore all files from the backup,
just the database or the database and initialization file.
The program maintains a set of codes and descriptions in memory for each major table
(accounts, materials, etc.) These in-memory tables are reinitialized after the restore is
completed. The next ticket number is also reset by finding the largest ticket number in the
restored database and adding one.
