If any of the Advance Mode features (See Table 7-3 on page 60) are turned off, that field should be removed
from the Print Format, otherwise a blank field will be printed.
Advance Mode Weigh-In Procedure
The Advance Mode weigh-in procedure is as follows:
1. The truck moves onto the scale for weigh-in.
2. Press the
Weigh
softkey.
3. A prompt is shown to enter the truck ID (up to 12 alphanumeric characters). Enter the ID, then press the
Enter
key.
4. A prompt is shown to enter Vehicle, Material, Customer, Source, Delivery, Delivery Wgt, and Remarks
(comments) if enabled.
Each one of these may be set to ON (prompt) or OFF in Advance Mode. The default is ON.
5. Indicator generates the weigh-in ticket.
6. Truck leaves the scale.
Advance Mode Weigh-Out Procedure
The Advance Mode weigh-out procedure is as follows:
1. The truck moves onto the scale for weigh-out.
2. Press the
Weigh
softkey, enter the ID, and press the
Enter
key.
3. Indicator generates the weigh-out ticket.
Note
The truck may be empty or loaded for either of the above procedures. The 720i will calculate the proper net
weight.
Advance Mode Keyed Tare
If the truck tare weight is known, Advance Mode keyed tare allows for both weigh-in and weigh-out to be
performed in one transaction.
1. Manually enter the tare weight using the numeric keypad.
2. Press the
TARE
key.
3. Press the
Weigh
softkey, enter the truck ID, and press the
Enter
key.
4. Indicator generates the weigh-out ticket.
Note
Some local regulations require the tare weight to be read from the scale. If so, don’t use the keyed tares
feature.
