Specifies whether the RS-485 communications is half- or full-duplex.

Specifies the decimal indicator address for RS-485 connections. RS-232 communications is
disabled if an address other than zero is specified for this parameter. RS-485 addresses must
be in the range 01–255.

If STREAM is set to LFT or INDUST, the TOKENS parameter can be used to replace tokens
used in the data stream from the indicator front panel. See Section 11.5 on page 103 for more
information about custom stream formatting.

4KEYS
KEYPAD
Specifies what data, if any, is streamed from the port.
LFT updates streamed data at the display rate, so only weight values shown on the display are
streamed.
INDUST streams data at the A/D update rate specified by the SMPRATE parameter on the
SCALES menu (page 22).
4KEYS and KEYPAD stream keypad events to a receiving indicator. KEYPAD transmits all
keypad events; 4KEYS transmits key presses of the ZERO, GROSS/NET, TARE, and UNITS
keys only.
Note
Streaming is not supported for RS-485 connections.
The print key always prints locally.
SFMT
format
Specifies the stream format used for the streamed data (CMD scale type). The default format
is the Rice Lake format (see Section 11.6 on page 106). See Section 11.5 on page 103 for
information about custom stream formatting.
