Greasing Procedure
Greasing points are marked on the machine by decals showing a grease gun and grease interval in hours of
operation. Master grease point location decals as shown below are provided on the header and adapter back frame.
Use the recommended lubricants specified in this manual.

CAUTION
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.

1.
Wipe grease fitting with a clean cloth before greasing
to avoid injecting dirt and grit.
2.
Inject grease through fitting with grease gun until
grease overflows fitting, except where noted.
3.
Leave excess grease on fitting to keep out dirt.
4.
Replace any loose or broken fittings immediately.
5.
If fitting will not take grease, remove and clean
thoroughly. Also clean lubricant passageway. Replace
fitting if necessary.
6.
Use clean High Temperature Extreme Pressure grease
as shown.
