4. Guide the guard hood with your hand.
5. Turn the black knob clockwise toward lock.
The immersion depth of the evaporating flask is now locked.
4.5.8 Releasing the evaporating flask from the vapour tube
Danger of glass breakage!
Risk of severe injury due to broken glass.
Check glass parts for damage (cracks, chips, etc.)
Use only glass parts that are in flawless condition.
Handle with care.
Drive rotating unintentionally!
Danger of injury to hands.
Ensure that the rotation is turned off.
The evaporating flask must be cool.
1. Raise the evaporating flask from the bath (see chapter 4.4.5, page 85)
2. Hold the evaporating flask and release the clip.
3. Hold the locking button (see chapter
4. Turn the nut on the vapour tube (Fig.
4-5 (7)) anticlockwise until the
evaporating flask is released.
5. Let go of the locking button.
