8.2 Replacing
fuses
The fuses are located on the bottom of the instrument.

Unintentional activation of the drive and heating bath!
Risk of severe injury due to electrical shock. Danger of burns to hands.
Ensure that the power of the instrument base and heating bath is switched
off.
1. Unplug the instrument from its AC power socket.
2. Remove
glassware.
3. Allow heating bath liquid to cool and remove the heating bath from the
instrument base.
4. Carefully tip the instrument onto its side and turn over.
5. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the defective fuse.
6. Insert a new fuse and tighten with the flat screwdriver.
The fuse is now installed. Return the instrument to its original state.
8.3 Cleaning
Damage due to corrosive cleaning products!
Damage to the surface of the instrument.
Use only mild soap solution. Do not use chlorine bleach or other chlorine-
based cleaning products. Do not use abrasive cleanser, ammonia, steel
wool or other cleaning products with metallic components.
Wipe the surface of the instrument with a cloth dampened in a mild soap
solution
