5.3.8 Menu
Toggles between menu and back.
Parameters can be selected or changed in
the menu using the joystick. For a detailed
description see section 5.4.
The left hand column of the display lists the main menu
options. The current selected option is indicated by
arrows.
The right hand column, under "Submenu", lists the parameters associated with the selected
main menu option.
5.3.9 Standby
Switches the device off or on. When the
device is off, the unlit display shows
"Standby".
To switch on, press the "Standby" key
again. The device runs through the power-
up routine.
This functionality is also used as a reset function.
5.3.10 Joystick button, triggering of injection
Triggering the Inject function.
Pressing the joystick button triggers the
automatic injection movement. The
capillary is moved to the side and then
axially to the limit level.
In parallel with the injection movement, the connected
microinjector is activated and the injection pressure is
built up. When the microinjector's injection time has elapsed the capillary is returned to the
search plane.
This procedure automatically injects the cell with the pre-set parameters.
