Synchronisation Move: No pressure build-up occurs. If the joystick button is held down the
capillary stops as shown in Fig. 6.3 and a separate injection can be triggered with a
(manual) injector.
If the injection is triggered via the connected injector, the InjectMan
®
NI 2 delivers a
warning. With this synchronisation the movement can be triggered only by way of the
InjectMan
®
NI 2.
5.2.4 Capillary exchange
Before swivelling it out, make sure the capillary cannot be impeded by any obstacles!
Wear goggles to protect against possible glass splinters! Swivel out module unit on
X/Y module.
Swivel module unit for capillary exchange out of working radius. The capillary swivels out
forwards and upwards with the module unit.

Before changing the capillary, bring the capillary to a position over the petri dish either
manually or by way of the Home function.

Grip module unit at rear motor unit (X/Y module) and swivel out.

Do not use the A module!

Exchange capillaries and swivel module unit back into place.
–
Bring the new capillary back into the focal plane.
