WARNING
Batteries contain sulfuric acid. In case of contact
with skin, flush the affected area with water for
five minutes. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes or clothing.
wear eye protection when working near
batteries.
DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE
BATTERY CABLE
IMPORTANT: Failure to disconnect the two ground
cable connections at the battery prior to welding on
the tractor or attached implement will result in
damage to the electronic and electrical systems.
To disconnect the negative battery cable
connections:
1. Remove the three battery cover attaching
bolts, 1.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector, 2.
3. Remove the battery cover, 3.
4. Disconnect the two negative ground cable
connections, 1, from the batteries.
After completing the welding, reinstall the negative
cable connections and battery cover.
