Configuring
Static Unicast
Addresses
Use the Static Unicast Address Table Configuration screen to manually
configure host MAC addresses in the unicast table. You can use this
screen to associate a MAC address with a specific VLAN ID and switch
port as shown below.

Use
Parameter
Description
VID
The VLAN group this port is assigned to.
MAC Address
The MAC address of a host device attached to this
switch.
Unit
The switch unit the host device is attached to.
Port
The port the host device is attached to.
Status
The status for an entry can be set to:
Permanent: This entry is currently in use and will
remain so after the next reset of the switch.
DeleteOnReset: This entry is currently in use and
will remain so until the next reset.
Invalid: Removes the corresponding entry.
DeleteOnTimeOut: This entry is currently in use
and will remain so until it is aged out.
Other: This entry is currently in use but the
conditions under which it will remain so differ from
the preceding values.
