2. Use one of the following methods to start the Create Datastore wizard:

Right-click a host or cluster and select All HP Management Actions
→HP Create Datastore.
•
Select Actions
→Create Datastore on the HP Management page for a host or cluster.
•
Right-click a host or cluster in any StoreFront Module for vCenter table, and then select
Create Datastore.
TIP: You can minimize the wizard using the minimize control ( ) in the upper right corner
of the screen. The wizard will be added to the Work in Progress panel on the right. Click on
it to resume the wizard.
The Create Datastores wizard opens and displays the Select Location window.
3. Select the host or the cluster which will own the new datastore in Select location.
A compatibility check is done to ensure the selected location is valid. If it is not, an error
message is displayed and a different location must be selected.
4. Click Next.
The Select Storage window opens.
