Description
for dual-controller configurations only, turns on or off automatic, MSA-based
I/O load balancing. If automatic path changes are enabled, the controller
firmware may subsequently and automatically change controller paths for a
target, based on I/O load.
Syntax
set auto_path_change enable|disable [prp=<#>] [mnr=<#>]
[twp=<#>] [twl=<#>]
Operands
enable|disable
Enables or disables automatic path changes.
prp=<#>
The minimum percent of proxied requests to trigger a path change, where
the percentage <#> is from 51 to 100.
mnr=<#>
The minimum number of requests issued to the LUN to trigger a path change.
twp=<#>
The minimum time to wait after the system is powered on or restarted to
make any path changes, where <#> is from 0 to 255 minutes.
twl=<#>
The minimum time to wait for subsesquent path changes to the same LUN,
where <#> is from 0 to 255 minutes.
Example
CLI> set auto_path_change mnr=100
Implicit (automatic load-based) LUN ownership changes are currently ENABLED.
Implicit LUN ownership change preferences are as follows:
Minimum % of proxied requests to trigger implicit path change..:
75%
Minimum number of requests to LUN before path change enabled...:
128
Minimum time to wait before changing ownership after power-up..:
30 minutes
