Edit the JCLs transferred in accordance with your installation environment.

Details are provided at the beginning of each JCL.

Create datasets used for transfers.

Execute the

ALLOUPLD

job that was edited in step 3. This job defines the datasets on the

mainframe host that the Smart Manager for Mainframe files will be transferred into in the next
step.

5.

Transfer the Smart Manager for Mainframe object archives from the PC to the mainframe host.

In binary mode, transfer the Smart Manager for Mainframe object archives from the PC to the
sequential datasets (created in step 4) on the mainframe host.

6.

Extract (execute the TSO/E RECEIVE command) the provided datasets from the object archives
that were transferred.

Execute the

RECVUPLD

job that was edited in step 3. This job extracts the product datasets from

the object archives transferred in step 5.
