used by Smart Manager for Mainframe.

Permitted characters Maximum length Item
A string consisting of one or more parts, joined by periods. Each
part can contain from one to eight characters, and consist of
uppercase alphabetic and numeric characters. Note that the
first character of each part must be an uppercase alphabetic
character.
25 Prefix
One to eight uppercase alphabetic character or numbers. This
must start with an uppercase alphabetic character.
8 Policy ID
A string consisting of one or more parts, joined by periods. Each
part can contain from one to eight characters, and consist of
uppercase alphabetic and numeric characters. Note that the
first character of each part must be an uppercase alphabetic
character.
