Reducing Flickering
[Deflicker]
This function adjusts the image display in
order to reduce flickering in the projected
image.
MENU > [System settings] > [Other settings] >
[Deflicker]
• When deflicker is performed, the image
adjustment screen is projected for approx-
imately 20 seconds.
• To cancel deflicker, press the
POWER
button.
Gamma Restore
[Gamma restore]
This function is used when changing and
turning of the tone characteristics and ach-
romatic color is noticed over a long period
of time.
MENU > [System settings] > [Other settings] >
[Gamma restore]
If Gamma restore is performed, the pro-
jected image will be adjusted for a period
of approximately 150 seconds.
• To stop Gamma restore, press the
POWER
button or the
EXIT button (WX6000 /
SX6000).

Deflicker adjustment is not per-
formed.
Adjust Select [Deflicker] to adjust. The fol-
lowing screen appears.

Deflicker is performed.
Cancel
Deflicker is not performed.
• Deflicker is a function that decreases
flickering. However, there are some
cases that flickering continues.
• Deflicker can only be used when the
lamp has been on for approximately
30 minutes or longer.

Returns to the factory default with-
out performing Gamma restore.

Performs Gamma restore and
applies the result.

Gamma Restore is not
performed.
• If Gamma restore is performed, the
tone characteristics and achromatic
color will be restored as close as
possible to the condition when the
unit was purchased, however it is not
possible to restore it completely to
the original condition. So the chang-
ing and turning color cannot be elim-
inated completely.
• Gamma restore can only be used
when the lamp has been on for
approximately 30 minutes or longer.
