Getting Started: 6000 Series Meters Connectors

Important: It is recommended to follow the following start-up and shut down procedures to avoid
crashes, lock-ups or data loss. Start and shut down procedures are also illustrated on the slip
attached with the adaptor cable.

Start-up procedure:

1. Connect the 9V DC power jack of the adaptor to the rear connector panel of the 6000

meter.

2. Connect 2 pin power plug into the power outlet or terminal strip.
3. Switch power on (wall socket or terminal strip).
4. Press the black button on the base of the meter for 5 seconds.
5. Release the button to power on the meter.

Shut down procedure:

1. Close all applications and log off.
2. From the HOME screen tap the bottom of the screen to bring up the task bar.
3. Tap Start>Shut down. This launches Shut down window.
4. Tap the Yes button on Shut down window to power off the meter.

Caution: Do not remove power from the DO meter until the meter shuts down.
