Step 3:
Connect the cable to an FDD device. Connect the connector at the other end
of the cable to an FDD device. Make sure that pin 1 on the cable corresponds to
pin 1 on the connector.

4.7.3 Keyboard and Mouse PS/2 Cable with Bracket (Optional)
The SPCIE-5100DX can be shipped with an optional keyboard and mouse PS/2 cable
with bracket. The keyboard and mouse PS/2 cable with bracket comprises of two PS/2
connectors installed on a bracket. Each PS/2 connector is connected via a cable to two
separate female 5-pin wafer connectors. The female 5-pin wafer connectors are
connected to the corresponding on-board keyboard and mouse connector. To connect the
optional keyboard and mouse PS/2 cable with bracket please follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Locate the connectors. The locations of the keyboard connector and the mouse
connector are shown in Chapter 3.
Step 2:
Align the connectors. Correctly align pin 1 on the PS/2 keyboard (mouse) cable
connector with pin 1 on the SPCIE keyboard (mouse) connector. See Figure
