5.4. FORMAT TICKETS
NOTE: Also see 6.3.1. Programming the Instrument for a Printer .
Always configure the COM Ports before formatting tickets.
5.4.1. Configuring the Printer
1. In the Configuration Menu, press the down arrow until FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT
TICKETS TICKETS TICKETS TICKETS displays, then press ENTER .
Press the down arrow to select the correct printer, then press ENTER .
2. When the SELECT SELECT SELECT SELECT FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT FORMAT displays automatically, press ENTER .
3. Press the down arrow to choose GTN GTN GTN GTN , INBOUND INBOUND INBOUND INBOUND , OUTBOUND OUTBOUND OUTBOUND OUTBOUND ,
BASICIN BASICIN BASICIN BASICIN , or BASICOUT BASICOUT BASICOUT BASICOUT , then press ENTER .
4. Press the down arrow to enter either DISABLED DISABLED DISABLED DISABLED or ENABLED ENABLED ENABLED ENABLED , then
press ENTER .
BASICIN / BASICOUT MODE weighs the vehicle, then prints a ticket displaying
the Time, Date and weight amount all on one line. This is the basic weighing
process only.
– It weighs either the Gross or the Tare amount.
– This mode does not utilize stored Tares.
