3.3.5. New Tare
Follow these steps to manually enter a New Tare.
1. While in the Operator Menu, select the NEW TARE NEW TARE NEW TARE NEW TARE option, then press
ENTER .
2. Press ENTER when ID ID ID ID displays, then input the correct identifying
tare number.
– The program stores a numeric
value, recalled later as a saved
tare weight.
3. When WEIGHT WEIGHT WEIGHT WEIGHT
displays, enter the amount, then press
ENTER .
4. Enter the correct UNITS variable.

5. When WEIGHT WEIGHT WEIGHT WEIGHT displays, enter the correct amount.
6. Input the VEHICLE DESCRIPTION , then press ENTER .
7. This can be the truck drivers’ plate number, the vendor ID, or another designated
identifying number.
3.3.6. New Keyboard Tare
1. Press the TARE button.
2. Enter the tare amount.
3. Press ENTER .
4. Place the object onto the scale.
5. Press the PRINT button.
The Net Weight (product only) is the Gross Weight (all) minus the TARE
WEIGHT (container only).
GROSS WEIGHT – TARE WEIGHT = NET WEIGHT
