2.1.3 Setting Node Number in Connection Cap
The setting of the node number is done by
turning the BCD rotary switches in the
connection cap. Possible (valid) addresses lie
between 0 and 89 whereby every address can
only be used once. Two LEDs on the backside
of the connection cap show the operating status
of the encoder.

The CANopen Encoder adds
internal 1 to the adjusted device
address.
To set the node number the customer can easily
remove the connection cap for installation by
removing two screws at the backside of the
encoder. The meaning and the positioning of the
two turn-switches you can see in the picture on
the right side.
