Using the V-LINK function
Connecting the HP103e/102e to a V-LINK compatible image
device allows you to control the images with the HP103e/
102e.
V-LINK
V-LINK (
) is functionality promoted by Roland
that allows linked performance of music and visual material.
By using V-LINK-compatible video equipment, visual effects
can be easily liked to, and made part of the expressive ele-
ments of a performance.
How to Use the V-LINK
1. Hold down the [Split] button, and press the
[Reverb] button.
The HP103e/102e switches to the set mode.
2. Press the [Right] button.
The button’s indicator flashes.
The following appears in the display.

3. Press the [-] and [+] buttons to switch the V-LINK
function on and off.
You can control images using the twelve keys at the left
end of the keyboard.
While V-LINK is switched on, the following will appear
in the display.
* While V-LINK is switched on, no sound is produced when you
press any of the twelve keys at the left end of the keyboard.
How to exit function mode
4. Press the [Split] or [Reverb] button.
The button’s indicator returns to its original state.
OFF
The V-LINK function is switched off.
On
The V-LINK function is switched on. You can con-
trol images using the twelve keys at the left end of
the keyboard.
