of the electrical system components. Systems and

Spark Plug Service
Every 200 hours of operation, remove each spark
™•žǯȱ‘ŽŒ”ȱ’œȱŒ˜—’’˜—ȱŠ—ȱŽ’‘Ž›ȱ›ŽœŽȱ‘ŽȱŠ™ȱ˜›ȱ
replace with a new plug as necessary. Replace spark
plugs every 600 hours. To service the plugs, perform
the following steps:
ȱ ŗǯȱ Ž˜›Žȱ›Ž–˜Ÿ’—ȱŽŠŒ‘ȱœ™Š›”ȱ™•žǰȱŒ•ŽŠ—ȱ‘ŽȱŠ›ŽŠȱ

“Inspection” following this procedure. Replace
the plug if necessary.

Inspection
Inspect each spark plug as it is removed from
the cylinder head. The deposits on the tip are an
indication of the general condition of the piston rings,
ŸŠ•ŸŽœǰȱŠ—ȱŒŠ›‹ž›Ž˜›ǯ
˜›–Š•ȱŠ—ȱ˜ž•Žȱ™•žœȱŠ›Žȱœ‘˜ —ȱ’—ȱ‘Žȱ˜••˜ ’—ȱ
