3 Press to redial the last number dialed.
4 Press Start Black .
5 If the most recently sent black-and-white fax is stored in memory, the Fax Mode
screen appears. Press 1 to send a new fax.
6 Press Start Black .
7 If you have another page to fax, when prompted, press 1 . Load it face down on the
right front corner of the glass, and then press OK . If you do not have another page
to fax, press 2 .
The HP all-in-one sends the fax.
Send a fax using speed dials
You can quickly send a fax from the HP all-in-one using speed dials. You can send a
black-and-white or color fax using speed dials; the following section provides
instructions for sending the fax in black and white.
Speed dial entries will not appear until you have set them up. For more information, see
Set up speed dialing .
1 Load the first page face down on the right front corner of the glass.
2 Press Fax .
The Enter Fax Number screen appears.
3 Press to access speed dials.
4 Press until the appropriate speed-dial entry appears.
Note You can also enter the speed-dial code by using the keypad on the control
panel.
5 Press OK to select the speed-dial entry.
6 Press Start Black .
7 If the most recently sent black-and-white fax is stored in memory, the Fax Mode
screen appears. Press 1 to send a new fax.
8 Press Start Black .
9 If you have another page to fax, when prompted, press 1 . Load the next page face
down on the right front corner of the glass, and then press OK . If you do not have
another page to fax, press 2 .
Send a fax using monitor dialing
Monitor dialing allows you to dial a number from the control panel as you would dial a
regular telephone. This feature is useful when you want to use a calling card to charge
the call and you need to respond to tone prompts while dialing. It also allows you to dial
the number at your own pace, if necessary.
You can send a black-and-white or color fax using monitor dialing; the following section
provides instructions for sending the fax in black and white.
Note Make sure the volume is turned on, or you will not hear a dial tone. For

Adjust the volume .
To send a fax using monitor dialing from the control panel
1 Load the first page face down on the right front corner of the glass.
2 Press Fax .
The Enter Fax Number screen appears.
3 Press Start Black .
