In the Attributes window select Qualifier and Power Curve Windows.
Selecting only these two items will ensure we do not copy over the tracking data, since
she moves differently in this new interview shot than in the previous one.

14

Click Apply at the bottom of the window to paste the selected attributes.
The outside node is simpler since we want the entire node’s changes.

15

Select clip 08 , select node 03 then press Cmd-C (macOS) or Ctrl-C (Windows).

16

Select clip 14 , select the OUTSIDE node, then press Cmd-V (macOS) or Ctrl-V (Windows).
The last piece is to just adjust and track the window on the new shot.

17

Select the SCARF node and adjust any of the control points so they fit more precisely
around the scarf.

18

Select the tracker palette, make sure you are on the first frame of the clip and click the
track forward button.
The tracker is a commonly used tool, most often when tracking windows for secondary
color corrections. As simple as it is to use, it is a very advanced palette that can handle
many tasks.

Stabilizing a Clip

Tracking is the process of analyzing motion in a clip and using that motion analysis to follow
an element in the frame. That process can also calculate the camera motion in a clip. The
color page’s tracker can perform double duty: not only can it track movement, it can also
stabilize clips.
