Panel Menu

Manage Log

From the ‘Panel Info’ menu, press the ‘Manage Log’ button to display the ‘Manage Log’ sub-
menu:

The ‘Manage Log’ sub-menu allows you to view and to clear the system log.

Press ‘View Log’ to display the ‘View Log’ sub-menu, which lists all network transactions for trou-
ble-shooting purposes.

Press ‘Clear Log’ to clear the contents of the system log, as required.

A person using the MCS Panel Configuration Editor can subsequently read the panel’s log file.

Press ‘Show Status’ to display system messages. If there are no messages, the display will be blank.
