UPGRADE THE RECORDER FIRMWARE
Note The currently installed version can be checked on the INFO menu.
1. Visit openeye.net to download the latest firmware version.
2. Unzip the downloaded firmware update to the root of a USB storage device.

It will unzip a folder labeled “upd_88ts” that contains four files; DO NOT change this folder
label or relocate any of the files it contains.
3. Connect the USB storage device that contains the upgrade software to the recorder.
4. Press MENU.
5. Select SYSTEM and press ENTER.
6. Select Upgrade and press ENTER.
7. Select Software Upgrade and press ENTER.
8. At the Upgrade prompt press ENTER.
9. Select the version you want to upgrade to and press ENTER.
10. Press the DOWN arrow to change the selection to YES and press ENTER.
Note Wait for the upgrade to complete, and the recorder to restart and return to the live screen
before you remove the USB device.
11. Remove the USB storage device.
