Power Key Privilege
This option defines what prompts will be displayed when the power button is held down for five
seconds. There are four options to choose from:
Auth Users will be prompted to login with an authorized account to shutdown the recorder (the
Password Protection option under USERS must also be enabled). Enabling the Auth option
will also enable the Confirm option.
Confirm Users will be prompted to press the ENTER key to complete the power off; or the ESCAPE
key to cancel the shutdown.
Direct The recorder will automatically shut down without any prompt or confirmation.
Disable This option disables any shutdown option via use of the power button; leaving the Shutdown
menu option as the only way to do a proper shutdown.
