Date Display Mode
This option allows you to select the format for the date displayed (Y/M/D, M/D/Y, or D/M/Y).
Time Display Mode
This options allows you to select the format for the time displayed (12 HR or 24 HR).
Daylight Saving Time Setup
This option allows you to turn Daylight Saving Time On or Off. You can also manually select the date
and time when Daylight Saving Time will start and end; as well as specify the amount of time shift that
should be applied.
Audio Output/Key Beep
Audio Output
This option allows you to select the audio output options (Off, Live/Playback, Always Live).
Key Beep
This option allows you to set the recorder to provide a beep feedback for each front panel key press.
System Name
System Name allows you to assign a name to the recorder.
1. Select System Name and press ENTER.
2. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter a name up to 11 characters.
3. When finished, select OK and press ENTER.
RS485 Setup
RS485 Setup allows you to configure the RS485 communication settings for the recorder to
communicate with PTZ cameras.
Unit ID
Unit ID allows you to configure the RS485 network ID of the recorder (1-255).
Note
Each device on a RS485 network must have a unique ID.
Note
All devices on a RS485 network should have the same Baud Rate, Bits, Stop, and Parity
settings. By default the recorder is set to 9600, 8, 1, None.
Baud Rate
Baud Rate allows you to select the baud rate that the RS485 network communicates at.
Bits
Bits allows you to select the bit rate that the RS485 network communicates at.
Stop
Stop allows you to select the stop bit rate that the RS485 network communicates at.
