Master Authorizer
The Master Authorizer is a hand-held, battery-operated device which activates a dispenser,
allowing you to fuel equipment not outfitted with a VM.
Identification
The device comes from the factory pre-programmed with the site's System ID and a VM
Number field. A label on the Authorizer identifies the VM Number. Before using the
Authorizer, you must validate this VM Number in the system's lockout table. If the Authorizer
is ever misplaced, be sure to invalidate the VM Number to prevent unauthorized fueling.
Limitations of Use
Transactions initiated with the Master Authorizer will use limitation, authorization, and price
level codes of zero. The device will not work with CFN systems requiring PIN for Fuel Point.
Operation
Place the Master Authorizer against the dispenser's nozzle ring antenna. Press the button for
about 3 seconds. The dispenser is now authorized for 1 transaction.
