1 Hold the Programmer near the vehicle's T-Ring.

2 When communication is established, a series of beeps will be heard. Continue to hold the
Programmer near the T-Ring. Programming takes about 5 seconds.

3 When complete, you will hear a long beep.

4 The Programmer turns off automatically.
Diagnostic Mode
The Diagnostic function reads a programmed VM and displays it as a string of data. It is the
easiest way to verify if the VM is transmitting. Follow this example.
1 Turn on the Programmer. Refer to “Turning On Programmer” on page 5-1 .
2 Select Diagnostic mode.
