If the print quality needs to be improved, select
[Maintenance] [General Settings] [Letterhead]
[Letterhead 1] to [Letterhead 3] to change the
setting value to a different number depending on
the paper thickness that you are using. High num-
bered settings allow thicker paper to be used, but
are printed more slowly.
When loading paper whose orientations are speci-
fied such as letterhead or letter paper, misprints
may occur. Refer to “Printing on paper whose orien-
tations are specified” for loading paper.

Select [Paper Input] [Paper Type: Bypass Tray]
[Label Paper].
Select [Paper Input] [Paper Type: (tray name)]
[Coated Paper: Gloss Print].
Select [Coated paper: gloss print] in [Paper type].
• Print speed is slightly slower than when using plain
paper.
• Shuffle paper before loading the stack on to the
tray, so multiple sheets are not fed in together.
Select [Labels] in [Paper Type].
