BUTTON OF THIS SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, OR
DOWNLOADING LICENSED SOFTWARE, OR INSTALLING LICENSED
SOFTWARE, OR USING LICENSED SOFTWARE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO
BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SOFTWARE
LICENSE AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF THIS SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, THEN YOU
SHOULD EXIT THIS PAGE AND NOT DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL OR USE
ANY LICENSED SOFTWARE. BY DOING SO YOU FOREGO ANY IMPLIED
OR STATED RIGHTS TO DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL OR USE LICENSED
SOFTWARE. INSTEAD, YOU MAY RETURN THE LICENSED SOFTWARE
TO THE PLACE YOU OBTAINED IT FOR A FULL REFUND (IF
APPLICABLE).
LNS DDE Server Software License Agreement
Echelon Corporation ("Echelon") grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable
license to use the copy of the Licensed Software and accompanying
documentation and any updates or upgrades thereto provided by Echelon
according to the terms set forth below. As used herein, "Licensed Software"
refers to the LNS DDE Server computer software and associated media, printed
materials, and "online" or electronic documentation, including without limitation
any and all executable files, tutorials, help files and other files, that accompany
such software or are in the accompanying documentation; "Demonstration Mode"
refers to a restricted mode of the LNS DDE Server where it will not operate for
more than one hour at a time; "Temporary Mode" refers to an unrestricted mode
of the LNS DDE Server that is limited to 30 days of use on a computer from the
time the Licensed Software is first installed on the computer, or the first time an
Application Key is ordered for the computer; "Unlimited Mode" refers to an
unrestricted mode of the LNS DDE Server that is not limited to 30 days; and
"Application Key" refers to a software key provided by Echelon that enables
Unlimited Mode for a copy of the LNS DDE Server on a particular computer.
License
You may:
(a) use the Licensed Software on any number of computers in Demonstration
Mode or Trial Mode,
(b) use the Licensed Software on any number of computers in Unlimited Mode,
provided that you have purchased and installed an Application Key for each
computer to be operated in Unlimited Mode,
(c) access the Licensed Software over a network using NetDDE or any other
networking protocol, provided that you have purchased and installed a separate
E-2 Software License Agreement
