5. Navigate to the OA Temp device Analog output value, right-click the Analog
output, and select Copy Link from the shortcut menu as shown in the
following figure:
6. Click the InTouch button on the Windows taskbar to return to the wizard.
7. Click the Paste Link button. This will automatically fill in the Application,
Topic, and Item portions of the link definition. The wizard defines a default
tag name. This field requires modification because InTouch tag names
cannot support embedded spaces or period characters. Select the Allow
Input option, and change the name by removing the invalid characters or
entering a new tag name. If a suitable access name already exists, the wizard
will use this access name for the tag definition.
Using the procedure just described prevents the tedious error prone exercise
of completely specifying the item declarations resulting in a significant
reduction in the time required to generate the tag definitions.
