7.6.4. JTAG
The JTAG controller is compliant to the IEEE 1149.6 specification (Also known as AC-
JTAG). The maximum frequency of operation is 20MHz. The JTAG provides basic
external chip debug features: Access to an identification register, Access to the
boundary scan, and Access to the internal scan chains and Ability to Clamp and High-Z
all outputs.
For a boundary test purpose, the JTAG pins are accessible with TPs, not as a part of a
JTAG chain, but as a standalone device.
