When installing a Smart Array 3200 Controller in a system with an existing
array controller, you can either place the new controller at the end of the
controller order or reorder the controllers. Reordering changes the current drive
letter assignments for all drives on the system. To avoid changing drive letter
assignments, place the new controller at the end of the controller order.
IMPORTANT: Do not create a primary partition on any of the added disks.
Online Recovery Server Status
This function indicates whether the Smart Array 3200 Controller is able to
participate in Online Recovery; it is available only in Advanced Features
(Ctrl+A at the main menu).
Select:
Disabled Disable online recovery.
Primary Smart Array 3200 Controller manages the local storage device.
Recovery Smart Array 3200 Controller is able to adopt a storage device from
another system that has had an online recovery event.
