C. For Target, select None.

D. Go to Menu > Settings > Setup > Communication and select the Ethernet tab.
E. Verify the Enable Camera to Camera check box is selected.

The LAN indicator in the Lower Status Row illuminates green.

NOTE: Cameras can also be set up in Master/Master configuration. To set as Master/Master, set Target to All

on both cameras, allowing either camera to make changes and control record start/stop.

SET REEL NUMBER, CAMERA ID, AND CAMERA POSITION

To prepare media and slate settings for a Master/Slave or Stereo/3D production, follow the instructions below:
1. On both Master and Slave cameras, go to Menu > Media and select Format Media...
2. On both Master and Slave cameras, select the desired Reel No and Cam ID settings.

NOTE: The Reel No and Cam ID settings on both BRAINs should match.

3. On the Master camera, change the Cam Pos value to Left, representing “left eye”.

4. On the Slave camera, change the Cam Pos value to Right, representing “right eye”.
5. On both cameras, select Format... to format media and set Reel No, Cam ID, and Cam Pos settings.
NOTE: Cam ID and Cam Pos settings can also be found at Menu > Settings > Project > Slate > Camera.
