Select File | Save Definition and save the configuration with the following
filename:
<Installation Path>\config\MyOrderForms.idf.
X To test the registration point
1 Select Tools | Test Registration or press CTRL+Shift+F8 to put Definer into
test mode.
Definer’s test mode allows changes to the configuration of registration points
and data fields to be tested immediately. Test mode uses an embedded
version of Recognition. The results of the registration and recognition
processes are shown in the Results Display Area.
You will be prompted to save the definition automatically each time you test.
It is recommended that you choose this option. If you wish to turn it off in
the future, do so through the Options window.

Click Process Field (Figure 5-7 , item 2) and then click Run or press F8.
This will show how Recognition finds the registration points on the sample
image. The centre of the registration point is marked with a green cross and
the coordinates are displayed.
3 Click Run Step or press space to complete processing.
Test mode will automatically exit once finished. This behavior can be turned
off by deselecting the Auto Exit button (to the left of the Run button – Figure
5-7 , item 5).
